Homemade range of Chilli Jelly, Relishes, & Sauces
Chillis Galore are Richard (nickname Wilf) & Kathy, who started growing chillis 23 years ago inNorwich, UK, to obtain some different varieties to use in cooking. After a few years of successfully growing chillis
our website was started to share
this knowledge, and over the years it
has grown in popularity with a huge following worldwide, this led us to developing our own homemade chilli
jellies, relishes and sauces from our own kitchen. Even now all our plants are still grown in greenhouses in the back garden where we grow
different varieties each year to show and sell , and also use in our own products. The progress of each years growing can be seen in the
diary pages, for even more information you can freely register on our forum boards to participate in discussions of all topics

All our jellies and sauces are still handmade by Kathy in our home kitchen in Drayton near Norwich, to our own
developed recipes over the years. We do not add any colourants, preservatives, bulking agents or artificial additives, just let the
individual natural flavours and heat of the peppers come through giving a fresh and vibrant flavour. All products contain fresh chilli pods
to ensure maximum flavour and cooked in small batches in two stainless steel pots and then hand filled and sealed. All aspects of our
products are managed at home, we even design and print and hand label all of out products,

laugh. Read about these Hot Chilli Tales, an amusing tale from a Texan chilli
tasting.

up or preserve them, roasting, freezing pickling & smoking, in cooking with chillis.

Growing Guide
We have now grown chillis successfully for over 22 year, starting off with limited strains available in the UK, to the initial start of the internet where more seeds became available which we obtained from the USA. In the last few years a massive explosion of chilli growing has kicked off with enough varieties to satisfy all, from all corners of the world with mild and tasty to red hot. All this is documented in our online diary of our last 12 years going through different techniques throughout the years. Greenhouse Sensation started us of with Hydroponic growing and advanced propagators many years ago right up to date with Tom Green of Greens
Horticulture writing a section on artificial lighting, with our own update in 2010 on the up and coming lighting of LED's. In 2012 we used LED lighting for the first time in conjunction with greenlights-ledgrowlights for more information on the equipment we use.

Seed Varieties
There are a good variety of seed companies on our links page if you are looking for something different this year.
New fresh seeds should give you a better harvest and the true strain of chilli. Undecided on what to grow have a look at our varieties pages
or growing diaries which may help you decide on what to grow. Another source for seeds is Ebay, plenty to pick from on there, although you
may take the risk of old seeds with poor germination or cross fertilized seeds unless its a reputable shop.
Visit the Varieties page which is updated as we grow them each
year (last update Feb 2013) or the Links page for more details of seed companies.

14 Years Of Our Own Online Growing Diaries
Each year
we try to grow an interesting assortment of chillis, which will appeal to all, whether you only have a small space on a kitchen windowsill,
or access to a greenhouse or a conservatory. We've grown the smallest ornamentals which are still edible, but hot to the larger bushes which
can reach up to 2 metres if planted into the ground in a greenhouse. If you wish try Hydroponics
have a look at 2004 or 2007 onwards diary pages, where we tried Greenhouse Sensations NFT kit and the Wilma 4 pot, later on aftificial lighting and GS quad grow and Chilli Grow, all listed in our Growing Equipment page.
